The Prelude Z-II is a Zorro-II soundcard for all Amiga computers with a free Zorro-II slot. The card can also be used with any Amiga 500 with a special adaptor or tower housed Amiga 1200 with Zorro-II/III board without any problems. For owners of a stock Amiga 1200 we offer the special prelude1200 that is plugged to the internal clockport of the A1200 and is 95% hardware and 100% software-compatible to Prelude Z-II. The card will run in every A1200, regardless if Commodore® or AmigaInternational® A1200. In both prelude versions FIFOs take care to not disturb the multitasking of the computer, record and playback can be used simultaneously (Full duplex). The analogue part has it's own ground layer and is designed for optimal dynamics and quality.

Since Computer98 you get a special version SamplitudeOPUS with every new prelude soundcard for professional recording, playback and editing of all samples and music sources in full duplex. Naturally you can always update this special edition to the lastet versions ofSamplitudeOPUS-lite or SamplitudeOPUS. For closer details take a look at our SamplitudeOPUS homepage.
